I get a bsod after restarting the first time. I believe that if you use the vga adapter the monitor will work.

I'd be really interested to hear from anyone with a Xerox who has actually managed to get any driver post The thing that concerns me is that people with Xerox monitors are probably in quite a small minority compared to people with other screens at least that's the case in the UK. From reading this forum Nvidia have a hell of a lot of bugs to fix in the next few months so will probably fix the more 'high profile' ones first rather than this one which although it is a pretty major issue for us , is only affecting a smallish subset of people.
So do we sell our cards and move to ATI? I cant use anything but dvi, since my monitor is dvi and so is my graphiccard..
How is it nvidia's fault? Really, I'm sure all these people want to know too. I'm not trying to upset you so don't get mad.

I really want to know how it is nvidia's drivers that are causing a monitor not to work when other company's monitors have no problem? Couldn't be the monitor company's fault and they need to release a new driver for their monitor? Do you have another computer with a different graphics card, other than nvidia running Vista that you can hook it up to? That would isolate the problem to the nvidia's drivers or Xerox's drivers. That will be extremely helpful for either Xerox or Nvidia.
Do you agree? Doesn't that seem logical?
Instead of just blindly going around and blaming nvidia for the world's problems let's use some logic and know for sure before you go around and say "do we sell our cards and go to ati" that's extreme and dumbfounded. I'm not trying to instigate you. It's an honest question. Lets all calm down a bit shall we?

I'm just an honest bloke trying like many other people to find a solution that enables me to actually use my bit of kit that I've spent hundreds of pounds on.
It seems from your somewhat aggressive response that its deemed politically incorrect on this forum to actually suggest that Nvidia may be at fault for anything. Well I'm sorry but they just may. However another solution as you suggest is that the problem is with the Xerox drivers, although none of us had any issues until release A complete waste of time.
So I decided to go for that scanner and it worked well for me Xerox XAi.
